DAY 2: 11th May 2006 Weather--Sunny (32 degree celsius)
Woke up at 7am...cos today's breakfast is on our own...we still haven't figure out what can we eat for breakfast near our hotel...so we went for the hotel's breakfast buffet...cost HK$55.
At 9:15am we gathered at hotel lobby and set off to HK Disneyland. It was abt 10am when we reached disneyland.
Our 1st stop is Main street U.S.A
We checked out some soveniers at the sovinier shop...me and YY shared to buy a pair of necklace, and we each get 1...i got the pink one.
After that we proceed to Tomorrow Land. We went to try out the"Space Mountain" ride...IT WAS FASCINATING!!! It is a indoor rollercoaster...but inside the dome...it is totally dark..and u can c all the stars and planets glowing...really very nice...when the rollercoaster went at top speed...u will feel as if u are flying in space!!!We took this ride 2 times. After that took a few rides that are not so exciting...and proceed to FantasyLand. On the way, saw the band performing...and took pics with them.
Then went to the world of pooh bear and friends..haha..
We entered "The many adventures of winnie the pooh"..haha...we sat inside a honeypot...and entered a world telling us the story of pooh and friends...very vey cute!!We also took this ride 2 times...cos during the journey there is a snapshot of us in the honeypot...the 1st pic caught us in surprise..so all of us looked weird...we took the 2nd ride prepared...but we also looked weird in the photo..cos we didn't looked into the direction of the camera...
Next, we went to "Mickey's PhiharMagic"This is really a fascinating 3D show!!featuring Donald Duck, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the beast, Lion King, and Aladdin...besides the 3D image, u will also feel wind blowing on ur face when the characters are flying, smell the delicious smell of food, got water sprayed on ur face when donald duck falls into the sea!!haha...really caught me by surprise!!
Then we went on to take photos with the disney characters...Mickey mouse, Minnie mouse, Donald duck, Pooh bear, chip and dale
After that just as we wanna eat our lunch, the road at Main Street was closed for "Disney on parade" just like our chingay.
After the parade, we can finally cross the road to the restraunt for our lunch le...we are all starving like hell...I ordered spagetti with mushroom..together with mango pudding. Taste quite good.
Next we proceed to the last theme---The Adventure Land( The place where tarzan live). We were very tired by then already...We just walked ard the island...taking the raft and the speedboat for a tour.
After that its already evening time le...so we went back to MainStreet to walk walk and wait for the fireworks...
The fireworks started at 8pm...it was really magnificant!! It made the whole Disney trip like a dream...
After that we headed back to our hotel. Reached hotel at abt 9+pm...Then we all decided to go Mong Kok to shop at the Ladies' Street. We walked to Yau Ma Tei MTR stn bought an Octopus card for HK$150( deposit HK$50, value HK$100) took the train to Mong Kok stn...we walked ard trying to find the ladies' street...That area is really buzzling and crowded...HK is really a city with night life!!We ask a shop what is their closing time...the sales assistant said they closed at abt 12:30am lor!!
Then we just shopped through a portion of the Ladies' Street...and it was 11+pm le...XT and YY decided that they wanted to eat supper...but me and LL still feel bloated with the spagetti we ate at Disneyland...so we decided to go walk walk instead...we bought a piece of "chou dou fu" to try out...umm...at 1st i thought i smell ok...the 1st bit was ok too...but the subsequent bits made me feel like vomiting...
Afterthat...me and LL head back to Mong Kok MTR stn...to return back to our hotel.
After we reached hotel, we started to pack up our luggage le...cos the next day we gg ShenZhen le...the tourguide asked us to put our luggage in HK with the care of the hotel...and say we just need to bring a smaller hand carry bag to ShenZhen can le...the four of us only bring along an extra top to shenzhen...and i just brought my small orange bag to shenzhen...haha..After packing and bathing...we slept at abt 3am...
